2026 FRED GIFFORD MEMORIAL SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION

The Scholarship consists of four (4) individual awards of $1000.00 each.

All applicants must be residents of the Town of Columbia, CT, seniors attending secondary school or homeschooled, with plans to continue their education at an accredited post secondary school or institution.  The Scholarship Committee looks for students with a good balance of grades, involvement in school activities, outside school activities, community service and family values.

Applications must be submitted no later than March 31st, 2026. The winners will be contacted by the committee and may be asked to attend a regular meeting of the Columbia Volunteer Fire Department Inc.
